Why seating areas are one of the most undervalued drivers of retail performance
In many shopping centres, seating is still treated as an afterthought. But well-designed seating and rest...
Back in September last year, the Beyond team was honoured to receive a commendation from the Director General of Counter Terrorism Policing for “innovation and creativity in support of the design of the Counter Terrorism Operations Centre (CTOC).”
This achievement reflects a tremendous collective effort, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team. It was also a genuine pleasure collaborating with so many talented partners, including Steph Butcher, who was also recognised with a commendation for her contributions while at Changeright, and who we’re delighted to now count as a valued member of the Beyond London team.
The quote below from the Director General’s speech says it all:
“Beyond provided the creative design for CORVINA floors, shared spaces, branding and CT History.
Their involvement in CORVINA has driven the creative look and feel at CTOC, creating a far more engaging workplace so CTOC is on a par with industry workspaces, setting a new bar for Government workspaces. They opened our eyes to the art of the possible and the value creative design has on a workplace and helped us create an environment that allowed us break the ‘beige’ barrier!
The impact of their work is most keenly shown with “The Retreat” – a wellbeing space for 4,000 people to use to allow them to decompress from the challenging work they do. The Retreat is an industry leading facility that sets the bar for future staff wellbeing.
The CT History project brings CT’s rich past to life, curating it from the early 1800’s to present day, highlighting key moments through engaging on-line and physical displays.”
